Early Preschool Room

EARLY PRESCHOOL ROOM

33 months to 4 years

As your child gains more independence and self esteem, this will become an important time to help them develop the skills for lifelong learning. Through encouraging independent exploration, structured activities and hands-on learning, children of the Kids Country Early Preschool Program will work on early literacy, math, science and social studies concepts. Our large indoor gym and three outdoor playgrounds also offer plenty of space to release energy when needed.

THE PROGRAM

Our staff understands the influence we have on each individual child and we have developed a unique approach to introducing lessons about things such as manners, basic life skills and independence based on this acknowledgment. We encourage your child to use language when trying to relay feelings or thoughts to others through daily conversations, reading books, and storytelling.

INDEPENDENCE

In preparation for your child’s upcoming years of schooling, helping them learn and understand how to interact with other children is of vast importance. Encouraging your child’s self-esteem is the first step in building secure and loving relationships, both with themselves and the friends around them. Providing an encouraging, supportive, and loving environment is a top priority for all our staff.

Your child will soon become accustomed to interacting with children of all ages, while building everlasting friendships!

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

An important aspect of development for your child at this age is independence. Kids Country urges your child to complete tasks as independently as possible. This approach helps children learn to be responsible for their actions, while improving performance of daily routines.

EXPLORATION

The Early Preschool Room provides children with distinct opportunities and advantages. Exploration is a significant part of this program with adventures to places like:

  • The Bounce Depot
  • The pumpkin patch
  • Pine Grove Park and Zoo

INTERGENERATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Intergenerational Activities are just another benefit of Kids Country residing on Country Manor Campus. Preschoolers travel down through the halls in eager anticipation multiple times a week to visit our “grandmas and grandpas.” Together they participate in sing-a-longs, coloring, parachute games, dress up, painting, jewelry making, yard games and so much more!

CONVENIENCE

Kids Country also offers the convenience of on-site Soo Bahk Do Karate and transportation to and from North Crest Kids Activity Center for gymnastics and/or dance and Sports Sampler for summer recreation.
